African Arty at London Art Fair | Edit
LONDON ART FAIR: EDIT
Whilst we are unable to run London Art Fair in its usual format at the Business Design Centre in January,
we remain focused on delivering a unique opportunity to discover and champion the most outstanding
Modern and Contemporary Art of our time.
Returning for its 33rd edition, the Fair will present leading modern and contemporary galleries in an
alternative digital format: London Art Fair: Edit.
Launching this year from the 20 – 31 January (VIP Preview 18 – 19 January), we welcome you to
browse through online Viewing Rooms, Artsy online catalogue and an exceptional programme of digital talks,
panel discussions and events.
The Fair’s alternative model will continue nurturing collecting at all levels, from major works by internationally
renowned artists to prints and editions.
THE FAIR PROGRAMME
LAF Viewing Rooms
Online gallery profiles featuring 20 works per gallery, giving visitors the opportunity to discover, browse and enquire upon selected works.
Works will be presented with audio and written commentaries narrated by the galleries themselves, allowing you to interact with the works on show in an alternative format.
As we cannot come together face-to-face this year, our workshop programme will be hosted online and take place throughout the duration of the Fair.
Workshops are now live and available to book here.
Our prestigious programme of talks will take place virtually for 2021.
The programme is set to include panel discussions and conversations with artists, curators and key partners; providing further insight to the work on show and taking an in-depth look at emerging trends and art world topics.
Launched for the first time in 2019, a guest curated exhibition focusing on a single distinct theme, the section includes galleries presenting well-known, overlooked and emerging artists that align to the theme.
Curator Candida Stevens presents this year’s theme, Folk Art – a view to our cultural heritage, our communities and our identity.
LAF Selects
New additions to 2021 include LAF Selects, with invited experts, collectors and prominent friends of the Fair presenting their own personal highlights from the Viewing Rooms.
LAF Editions
Alongside the galleries curated Viewing Room presentations and continuing the Fair’s role in nurturing collecting at all levels, LAF Editions will provide a unique opportunity to purchase limited edition prints exclusively through London Art Fair website.
