About

AA Gallery (African Arty) is pleased to announce its participation in the 9th edition of Art Monte-Carlo, taking place from July 7 to 9, 2025, at the Grimaldi Forum, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

For this first participation, the gallery will highlight the work of an artist whose poetic and singular universe subtly engages with themes of displacement, identity, and memory: Houda Terjuman.

An artist who has exhibited in Morocco, the United States, and Europe, Houda Terjuman creates works that float between sky and earth, between languages and territories. Her sculptures and paintings depict uprooted objects — chairs, bridges, plants — carrying both intimate and universal narratives. Her works are part of major international collections such as the Institut du Monde Arabe, the Mohammed VI Museum, the Imago Mundi Foundation, and the Aga Khan Museum.
