African Arty is pleased to announce its participation in the 1-54 Marrakech fair, from January 29 to February 2, 2025, at La Mamounia, with a selection of works by artist Abderrahmane Rahoule.
Born in 1944, Rahoule is an active member of the Casablanca School group and a key witness to the emergence of contemporary Moroccan art in the 1960s, alongside artists such as Belkahia, Melehi, Hafed, El Harriri, and Hamidi, to name a few.
In 2023-2024, Rahoule was exhibited at the Tate St Ives Museum, the Sharjah Foundation, and the Kunsthalle Museum as part of a traveling group exhibition organized by Morad Montazami, The Casablanca Art School, Platforms and Patterns for a Post-Colonial Avant-Garde 1962-1987.
